Leatherly's is a small South African business that designs and handcrafts genuine leather products. Every product we sell is made by hand, to order. We do not hold stock on a shelf, which means nothing gets cut or stitched until your payment reflects.

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to make and deliver your bag:

•      Your name and surname

•      Your email address

•      Your delivery address

•      Your contact number

If you choose to give us anything extra, for example a note about a gift or a personalisation request, please make sure it is correct and that it belongs to you.

Why we need it

•      To take your order, keep you updated and get your bag delivered

•      To answer your questions and sort out any problems

•      To send you news, specials and new arrivals, if you have said yes to this. You can opt out at any time

•      To see how our website is being used so that we can improve it

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information to anyone. We share only what is needed, and only with:

•      Our courier, so that your parcel can reach you

•      Our payment provider, so that your payment can go through safely

•      Anyone we are legally obliged to share it with, for example a court order or a fraud investigation

Everyone who works with us or for us is bound to keep your information confidential.

How we protect it

•      Your details are treated as confidential

•      We take reasonable technical and practical steps to keep them secure

•      We keep them only for as long as we need them, or as long as the law says we must

•      If we ever become aware that your information has been accessed without permission, we will tell you

•      On request, we will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it
